Pendulum Pilsner is a rich velvet smooth, yet clean, dry and crisp pilsner of a pale gold color. The complex mix of hops and malt creates an elegant floral nose and delightful taste that is very drinkable without overwhelming even the most tepid beer drinker. Not overly bitter but just enough of the hop to enjoy their subtle complexities while still enjoying the smooth, and almost sweet taste of the malt. Serve Pendulum in a tall glass to enjoy the carbonated bead and the steady white head that laces the glass and taste why Pendulum Pilsner is a cut above the rest.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA

20170903

20131002:
I found it strange that I hadn't already blogged about this beer, Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. However, it was possible that I somehow hadn't tried it prior to today (20131002).

I wrote: "Yeah... I love the Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. It has that sweet taste that I usually taste in stronger beers, but it doesn't taste strong. Delicious!" 10:16PM

It's been a while since I've had this beer and it's still amazing. Overall, the beer had a soft taste, was a little dry, and tasted great. 10:10PM CT

Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA "perhaps the best IPA in America." An imperial IPA best savored from a snifter, 90 Minute has a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.

90 Minute IPA was the first beer we continuously hopped, allowing for a pungent -- but not crushing -- hop flavor.

Since introducing the world to the continuous-hopping method with our 90 Minute IPA, we've since released the continuously hopped 60 Minute IPA, 120 Minute IPA and even a 75 Minute IPA (a cask-conditioned blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs).

In addition to the continuous hopping, 90 Minute IPA is also dry hopped with our 'Me So Hoppy' device during conditioning.

Tasting Notes: Brandied fruitcake, raisiney, citrusy

Food Pairing Recommendations: Pork chops, beef, grilled fish, frites, focaccia, split pea soup, Stilton cheese & escargot
