Josh was deciding between the Hobgoblin English Ale and the Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar. The server said the Rogue was sweeter, and so Josh decided to get the Hobgoblin.

I wrote: "The Hobgoblin is not as aromatic as Josh's other beer. It tastes good, but not as good as Josh's first beer. It's less bubbly and a little more bitter. Supposedly the Rogue would have been sweeter. In any case, both are brown ales, a category which Yard House descibes as being 'Malted - Roasted - Nutty'. I would agree that the Hobgoblin is nutty."
Yard House:
7.0% Drink Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA
5.2% Drink Hobgoblin English Ale
5.2% Drink Young's Double Chocolate Stout
5.3% Drink Alaskan Amber
9.0% Drink North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial Stout
*I'm pretty sure this is a Hobgoblin. I took this picture during the same minute as the Young's Double Chocolate. The glass has a different condensation and the head wouldn't have yet dissipated. The second picture in the Young's Double Chocolate still has a good layer of head. I can't entirely go by color, because that can change by camera angle.
