Green Flash Silva Stout

Green Flash Silva Stout

20150520:
At Eureka I first tried a sample and it had a plum/wine smell. The taste was similar to the nose. The beer smelled unlike any beer I've had recently. Yeah, it had a wine-like smell.

After I drank more, I realized it had an alcoholic flavor, but not overpowering. Overall, I liked the beer a lot. 5:08PM PT

Green Flash Silva Stout - Lacing

The beer tasted stronger and became less bearable towards the end. 5:40PM PT

Baileys Irish Cream and Coffee

20150513:
In terms of ingredients, this combination is not quite an Irish Coffee or a Baileys Irish Coffee.* Despite its simplicity, it's quite tasty. Part of what makes it great is that the drink is just perfectly warm.

*Baileys Irish Coffee is Baileys, Coffee, and Irish Whiskey.

20150519:
On my flight from SoCal to NorCal I had yet another Baileys Irish Cream and coffee. While good, it wasn't as strong or warm as it was the other day.

20150505:
Today at Elevation 66 I had a taste of the Elevation 66 Two Beagle Brown Ale. It had a dark brown color and cloudy appearance. It also had a very sweet and malty smell, but was tasty and did not taste overly malty.

Overall, this beer hit the spot with regards to sweetness. 9:59PM PT

Nice and dry for a brown ale. Forget the sweet, syrupy brown ales you've had before. This beer diplays all the beauty of the nutty, bready flavors that a brown ale should have while leaving your palate clean and wanting another sip.

Two Rivers Blackberry Cider

~I'm not a beer. I'm a cider.~

20150505:
I had this today at Elevation 66. It had a tart smell, had a dark red color, and tasted very fruity and a bit bitter. Not knowing what blackberry juice tastes like, I found it tasted most like carbonated cranberry juice.

Overall, I was not super excited about it. 9:53PM PT

Check out the Two Rivers Blood Orange Cider instead.

This beer smelled like bubblegum. Unexpectedly, it also tasted strong.

Unfortunately, I simply didn't enjoy this beer.

While the beer's flavor eventually settled, had a softer taste, and was no longer strong, I still didn't like how it tasted. 6:28PM PT
