20160227: [20160319 Edit]
It comes as a bit of surprise that I haven't tried this beer already. Of course there's the possibility that I have but either didn't take notes, misplaced them, or never blogged them.

In any case, since I was munching on a bunch of carrots, I took a sip to rinse out the carrot flavor in my mouth. Then I took another sip and it felt overly carbonated.

On my fourth sip, I found the flavor to be subtle and the excess carbonation was still a distracting characteristic.

Fortunately, I thought the beer ended on a good note.

Remark: Drinking Canadian beer in Canada!

Comment(s): To this date, La Fin du Monde has earned more medals and awards, including some of the world’s highest honors, than any other Canadian beer.

With its perfect harmony of cereal flavors, bitterness, and high alcohol content, La Fin du Monde is a refined ale with subtle aromas. Its assertive flavors reveal a strong personality and a profound essence.

Serve it with almost any type of salty blue cheese or a wide variety of dishes made with mussels, salmon, scallops, game, or sausage.
