I wrote: "This beer smells like a lightly spiced pumpkin pie. The first taste is more creamy, like a stout, perhaps due to the layer of head. The second taste is less interesting, being mostly fizzy with a light spice flavor. Overall, the beer hardly tastes like pumpkin, but its drinkable and refreshing. I personally enjoy the pumpkin ales with a strong pumpkin flavor more than those with just a hint of Fall/Winter spices."
