While most of the beers available here at Hooters are run-of-the-mill brews, there were a few craft beer options.
The restaurant refers to their 12 oz beers as Girl Size Beers and their 22 oz beers as Man Size Beers. However, I was not deterred by their sexist naming tactics and ordered a 12 oz glass of Deschutes Obsidian Stout.
I wrote: "Obsidian Stout. I can smell a bit alchohol. The smell reminds me of Baileys Irish Cream. There was a nice thick head which stayed around for a while. Hmm. This beer has substance to it (thick and creamy), but in the end its just [sic]" 8:43PM PT*
*I'm not sure why my notes are incomplete, but if you feel disappointed, then you're in the same boat as me. While I don't remember my actual last impressions of the beer, the context clues suggest I ultimately thought it was just average tasting.
