saison sandwich is not actually sour, well perhaps ever slightly so. it has a wheat taste with some floral notes (I use floral because recently I had a beer with a floral taste and this seemed to match that flavor). overall I enjoyed this saison. it was easier to drink than some saisons but also had a great flavor profile. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

A collaboration brew with our good friend, Arne, of Marin Brewing Company. We brewed a saison using pilsner, abbey, and rye malts, and blended it with a farmhouse ale with brett that had been aging for 18 months in chardonnay barrels, resulting in a delightfully funky saison.
