Today I had this beer* on draft at Fort McKinley Restaurant & Bar, because it was the only beer left which I didn't recognize.**
It's lighter than the Firestone Walker 805 I just had. This beer does seem to have a taste to it, though maybe it's just from the food I'm eating. Overall, it tastes alright. I like the 805 more, and considering the 805 wasn't that special, there's not much to say about the San Miguel. 9:16 PM PT
*The menu just says "San Miguel," so I'm assuming it's going to be the brand's flagship "San Miguel Pale Pilsen." Their website currently lists the following ten brands: San Miguel Pale Pilsen, San Miguel Premium All-Malt Beer, San Miguel Super Dry, Cerveza Negra, Red Horse Beer, San Mig Light, San Miguel Flavored Beer, San Mig Zero and Gold Eagle Beer.
**I did not realize at the time that I once had the San Miguel Pale Pilsen on draft. Available on tap was San Miguel, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Corona, Modelo Especial, Shock Top Belgian White, Firestone Walker 805, Deschutes Black Butte Porter, Blue Moon Belgian White, Bud Light, Lagunitas IPA, Stella Artois, and Guinness.
